[ Basic Concepts | Workflow | Editor Features ]
Introduction
This is a personal project, I am working alone. I designed this prototyping tool with some personal game projects in mind, to provide variety and speed in prototyping and game testing. Not just faster, but focused on creativity, scalability, rapid changes, tuning and maintenance.
Pillars are:
Acceleration
Reduced time and effort to implement and prototype. Pre-made, preset options within few clicks. Examples include a ready-to-use platform player, spaceship, basic collectibles, and hazards.
Scalability
Modularity to build and extend scalably, easily adding, removing, or modifying game features. This approach makes the codebase more manageable and supports the expansion of complex and evolving game environments.
Consistency
Consistent editor and player experience by maintaining uniform behavior across various game elements, delivering What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) experience. By using standardized components and features, developers can create predictable and reliable interactions within the game world.
I want to have a reliable and solid tool to build projects easily, and I hope this serves you in the same way.
