Axis Download and Install

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of downloading and installing the Axis package after purchasing it from the Unity Asset Store.

Step 1: Open the Package Manager

1. First, open your Unity project.
2. Navigate to Window > Package Manager to open the Package Manager window.

Step 2: Access "My Assets"

1. In the Package Manager window, click on the My Assets tab in the top left.
2. In the search bar, type Light Speed Prototyping Axis to locate the Axis package.,

Step 3: Download the Axis Package

1. Once you have located the Light Speed Prototyping Axis asset, click the Download button.
2. After the download is complete, the package will be available for import into your current and future projects.

Step 4: Import Axis

1. After downloading, click Import to begin adding Axis into your project.

2. During the import process, Unity will prompt you to update Input System and TMP (Text Mesh Pro).

3. You will be asked to restart Unity for the updates to take effect, but select NO at this point.

4. Click Import button, and then all Axis content will be available in your project Assets folder.

4. When you open a scene, you'll be prompted to import TMPro Essentials, this is the dependency Axis uses to render texts in the UI.

Step 5: Complete the Import

1. Once the import is finished, manually restart Unity Editor. This ensures that the Input System updates correctly and your Axis setup is complete.
